Services / Promotion & IP

Promotion and IP strategy, from character planning to overseas expansion

From Honolulu, we help companies and communities with promotion and with the use of intellectual property (IP), including characters. We designed our own original character, Aloha-chan, who appears as a guide to Hawaii on our YouTube channel, website and social media. We draw on that experience when proposing how to develop a character or brand.

Character planning and development

Clearly defined settings help a character keep a consistent impression, even when staff or production companies change.

  • Name, personality, catchphrases and companions
  • Character design
  • Rules for using the character
  • Appearances in video and social media
  • Opportunities to connect with fans

Sales and revenue

We begin with approaches that require no inventory, such as LINE stickers and emoji and made-to-order merchandise. From there, we work with you to consider a path toward collaborations with shops and companies, and toward licensing, in line with the recognition of the character and your budget.

Promotion

Video production, websites and social media are all handled in-house, so a character can be planned and published by the same team. We also welcome inquiries about promotional campaigns featuring a character and about introducing shops and products.

Overseas expansion

Based in Hawaii, we produce work in Japanese and English. Whether you wish to introduce a character or brand from Japan to Hawaii and other markets, or to bring a Hawaii brand to Japanese audiences, we propose an approach that takes language and local circumstances into account.
