WEB BURGER DESIGN is an independent design studio in Honolulu, working in English and Japanese since 2003.
About the name
The name reflects how we approach a website: as layers, each with its own role. At the center is the client's story.

At Web Burger, we take the filling you want to share, arrange it so it looks irresistible, and build an original burger — your website. Our job is to make sure everyone who takes a bite leaves satisfied.”
Why we develop our own tools
Our clients often faced the same problem: the website came from one company, the booking system from another, and social media from a third. When bookings fell short, responsibility was unclear. We therefore developed our own reservation platform and launched our own YouTube channel, so that the entire path from search to booking is something we can take responsibility for.
Working in two languages
Much of the difficulty in business between Hawaii and Japan lies in translation. We work natively in both languages, so Japanese clients can explain their needs as they would naturally express them, and the Japanese on their websites reads as original writing rather than translation.
History
The studio was founded in Hawaii in 2003 as Web Burger International Design Studio, producing websites, graphic design and video for clients in Hawaii, Japan and across the United States. The work has since expanded to include our own reservation platform and a Japanese-language YouTube channel.
Location
Honolulu, Hawaii. We work with clients throughout the islands and in Japan.
