We maintain the website of Sunshine Scuba, a Japanese-owned dive shop on Oahu. We moved the site to a new server ahead of the end of support for its software, keeping the pages and booking forms unchanged for visitors.

About the client
Sunshine Scuba is a Japanese-owned dive shop on Oahu. Its website publishes dive reports and accepts bookings in Japanese and English.
What we did
We planned the move to a new server well ahead of the date on which the software the site was running on would stop receiving security updates.
- WordPress and all plugins were brought up to date before the move.
- The booking and contact forms, including their emails, were set up on the new server and tested after the switch.
- Pages were compared before and after the switch to confirm that visitors see the same site.
- Because we keep the original files from earlier work, we were also able to restore photos for the shop’s earlier dive reports.
Ongoing work
We continue to look after updates, security and search visibility for the site.
